Everyday Beethoven

Beethoven didn’t just write monumental timeless compositions resolving an existential crisis with a strict architecture of form. In fact, he was a lively man with a very interesting social life. There was room for unrequited love, humor, and simple joys.

In this program Beethoven speaks to the audience not in high German, but with sonorities and expressions that play not at all on the “classical” strings of the soul, and dispose to a direct dialogue.
